Alvan Liu is the firm’s founder and managing Partner.

Armed with more than 3 decades of experience and being a qualified solicitor in Hong Kong, United Kingdom and the Greater Bay Area (GBA), Alvan is praised for his practical approach and global mindset in resolving legal complications. Further, he was appointed as a China-Appointed Attestation Officer by the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China.

Alvan manages and leads the firm’s dispute resolution team and specializes in commercial litigation and commercial transactions. He has extensive experience handling complex shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, contractual disputes, trust-related disputes, and other high-stakes commercial litigation matters. He regularly represents listed companies, multinational corporations, and financial institutions in contentious and non-contentious matters across Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Alvan is equally recognised for his pragmatic and commercially focused advice in equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and cross-border investments.
